Dj Tarico biography


Dj Tarico is a Mozambican producer, member of the afro group Madjara, born on February 28, 1993, in the city of Maputo


Dj Tarico attended primary and secondary education at Felipe Samuel Magaia Elementary School, Escola Primária Malhangalene EP 2 and Escola Secundária Laulane, respectively, having taken a professional course in computing at Eduardo Modlane University, the largest higher education institution in Mozambique.


Dj tarico has always liked music, but his passion for producing came from his friends' childhood. At the time he had a DJ friend, so he learned to be a DJ and at the same time developed the art of production, through some colleagues who had a study with basic equipment.

Early in his career as a producer, Dj tarico produced Hip-hop, then expanded his horizons to e kuduro, Kizomba and more.


Doors started to open for Dj Tarico when he produced the song. It was claimed by the Mozambican singer, kastelo Bravo, and from there came works with Nova articulate, Cláudio Ismael, among others.


Dj tarico is inspired by producers like Swizz Beatz, Timeberland, Elputo and Mr Dino.


In 2020, dj tarico released the album “Moz piano Vol. 2”, Comprised of 16 tracks, highlighting “Yaba Buluku”, which already has about 2 million views on YouTube and recently won a remix with Bruna Boy, as part of the project “Geobek Standard” by executive music producer Geobek .
