Azarias samuel or Simply Az, affectionately addressed by Mr khinera, is a Mozambican Artist, born in pemba province of Cabo Delgado, and his musical genres are kizomba, R&B and Afro.
AZ started singing at a very young age at the Assemblies of God International church, he belonged to a Sunday children's group, and a few years later he joined the youth group in which he is part until today.
Music has always been his passion and from an early age he participated in small competitions held in his neighbourhood, singing at family parties and those of neighboring neighbors, later he formed a musical group called BCD, in which two of his friends, OB and Mr Flo, were part. .
Still in 2004, with the return of the musician Imamo Agi, a singing contest was organized in which he came out as the first place.
In 2008 Az continued with his career in another ANJOS project in which he was a duo with the singer Fapel which resulted in the recording of a CD in Dar-Es-Salaam in Tanzania and the release was in the city of Pemba, but it did not exceed expectations. of both, although the trip also served to exchange impressions with renowned musicians, and to participate in some collaborations with some artists from that neighboring country.
Mozambique, in 2009 he had his participation in the Fama show where he left the academy at the Fourth Gala. When he returned, he was part of the CD entitled Vozes da Baia, a project by Carlos de Lina, where he was also one of the highlights.
In 2014, he entered the Desafio Total where he was one of the finalists of that season, having managed to win the admiration and respect of the most demanding juries in Mozambique, such as Ildo Ferreira, and becoming a revelation at the highest level for Mozambican music, since then, Az Khinera's image has been launched at the country level and officially known in the new talent market, although it had started its journey years ago.
In 2016, Az released the song “Cansei” and then “Diva” which were very well received and had a clear success, allowing the participation of the 6th Edition of the FESTIVAL DO ZOUK in 2017, and the launch of his EP “Pensando em Ti” with promising tracks such as “Só Eu Tú” which was liked by his admirers, then released another hit Amigas in 2018, and in 2019 the Participation in the Triple Vision Awards Best Artist of the North Zone, in which he occupied the 2nd Position.

Az continues his career and releases the song Má Madrasta in 2020 Which is a song of social intervention and appeal to Stepmothers who mistreat their stepchildren. Az Khinera has collaborations with the renowned Imamo Aji, Carlos de Lina, Willgeorge, Idrisse Id, Gerson Mariano, Tamyres Moiane, Mon and Mic, Mimae, Dj Junior, Abuchamo Munhoto, Claudio Ismael, Dos Aneis, Kiko da Kivu, Dj Faya o Producer Mito, Musician Ziqo Seam Nigger, John Sambik, Sérgio Maposse among others. He is a participant in the Wimbe Festival from the 4th Edition in 2013 to the 11th Edition in 2020.
In the same year 2020, he participated in the 12th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries, from October 23 to 30, in which he was the only artist to represent Mozambique.
Currently Az Khinera continues with his career and prepares the first Album that will be available this year (2021).
