Fred Jossias biography


Fred Jossias is a Mozambican presenter born on September 17, 1986, in the city of Maputo, capital of Mozambique. In his programs, Fred promotes Mozambican music and talks about famous Mozambicans serving the so-called “beefs”, which is why he is also known as the “King of Beefs”.


Fred Jossias had a normal childhood, he liked free drawing, so much so that he once made an illustration of his father, and was a football fan and even became a Junior Goalkeeper at Costa do Sol.


It was at the church where Fred's family realized that he had a very strong inclination towards communication.


Years later, Fred Jossias started working as a clown on Adélia Gil's show and some time later he took charge of the show “Attractions”, revolutionizing the world of communication with his way of being. Fred, was the first presenter to show 100% Mozambican music on his program, contributing a lot to its appreciation.


In 2010, Fred Jossias and Atrações were the big winners in the categories of “Best presenter” and “Best musical program”, respectively, at the MMA – Mozambique Music Awards.


Beefs have always been Fred's main dish, but one day they cost him his job. In 2014, the “King of beefs” allowed Azagaia to smoke suruma live on “Atrações” and, consequently, was expelled from TV Miramar.

In 2015, he debuted the program “Batidas” on TV Sucesso, having left in September 2020, for his own television channel called Tua TV (TTV).


In 2020, Fred was nominated for the African Entertainment Awards – USA (AEA Usa) category of “Best Presenters from Africa”.
